amos 2.....I raised up some of your young men as nazirites...but you gave the nazirite wine to drink (which is against their vow Num 6) and commanded the prophets saying, "do not prophesy!"
amos 3...surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants, the prophets...
A LION HAS ROARED! WHO WILL NOT FEAR? THE LORD GOD HAS SPOKEN! WHO CAN BUT PROPHESY?
pity upon me or any of us who would quiet the voice of the Lord through His servants
